i was given these as purple hornets that lost their color and was told the color comes back but its been a little over a month and i still don't see any color coming back. Although, i have had 3 more polyps since iv got them but they all see to have the same color. these are my first hornets that's why i am a little confused.

are these purple hornets?
if yes, what can i do to get their color back?

A true 'hornet' has alternating colors on the tentacles and usually has 3 rings of color surrounding the mouth.
Since the 'hornet' craze as of late, anything remotely close to these specifications gets the 'hornet' moniker.

That's not a "real" hornet. That's a purple monkey dishwasher japanese deepwater zoanthidpaly. Posted Image

In all seriousness though, that doesn't look like the photos of "purple hornets" I have seen.
